Westcon Group Launches New Corporate Identity and Web Site Infrastructure, Building on its Solutions

TARRYTOWN, NY, May 29, 2007 - Westcon Group, Inc.™, the world’s leading specialty distributor in networking, convergence, security, and mobility, announced that it has launched a new worldwide corporate identity and corporate website infrastructure. The changes build upon Westcon’s multi-national solutions program infrastructure which began over two years ago and will result in more seamless interaction for the distributor’s customers, vendors, partners and suppliers.

Westcon Group’s new corporate identity encompasses Westcon Group and its multi-national business practices including Comstor™, Westcon™, Voda One™, LAN Systems™ and the newly acquired NOXS™ and Crane organizations. The new logo designs serve to unify the visual expression of Westcon Group’s business practices, and are aligned with the distributor’s internationally renowned solutions programs including OneVoice, OneDefense, ConvergencePoint, VoicePoint and SecurityPoint.

“Our focus is simple,” commented Duncan Potter, chief marketing officer of Westcon Group. “We want to help our customers be more effective and efficient in the way they sell solutions to an end-user customer. Our new corporate identity and corporate website infrastructure reflect our leading go-to-market strategy in achieving this while illustrating our maturity as a company as well.”

Westcon Group’s new corporate website consolidates 25 individual sites into a single, corporate web environment through which customers, vendors, partners and suppliers can more easily interact with the company. Visitors can access its solution program sites, on-line e-commerce, corporate information, career information and many other areas. The new web site, which also supports advanced web 2.0 capabilities and advanced search engine functionality, is located at http://www.westcongroup.com/

Steve Leidholdt, president and CEO of STL Communications, Inc., a St. Louis, MO-based reseller, added: “Through its programs like OneVoice, OneDefense, ConvergencePoint and SecurityPoint, Westcon Group has helped us capitalize on our strengths and further develop our success in selling targeted solutions. No matter which practice you are dealing with, Comstor, Voda One or Westcon, their team is knowledgeable and unified. This is apparent within the company’s new identity and its website.”
